Timbertots Teacher Position to be Filled: Timbertots is currently looking for a teacher to assist in the 2 Yr. Old Classroom. Monday thru Thursday from 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM. Anyone interested, please see Merrilyn Perritt.

Chick-fil-A Night – Thursday, February 23^rd @ 6:00 PM – Hwy 544 Location - Fundraiser for the Youth – Stop by for dinner between 6 PM – 8 PM and our Youth Group will receive a percentage of sales to help with summer camp tuition. Be sure to mention Timberlake so we can get the credit.

March Newsletter Deadline – Friday, February 24^th! Be sure to submit your article to get it published in the March Newsletter. You can submit by e-mail, fax, or hand deliver.

Children's Bake Sale & Silent Auction will be Wednesday, March 7th at 5:30 PM. Any donations would be appreciated (baked goods and silent auction items). Sonic Coupon Cards - Children’s Ministry will be selling them to raise money for summer camp. Spend $3 and save $15. You can purchase your Coupon Card from Tammy Moulden or any of the children from the Children’s Ministry.

Timberlake Baptist Youth will be engaging in a weekend retreat called "Disciple Now!" They will be participating in group sessions, Bible studies, fellowship, etc. where they will learn and developing skills that will aid them interacting and witnessing to those within their own "community". If you would like to learn more about this program, you can visit www.dnowonline.com. Part of the experience is for them to stay in host homes to bring them out of their comfort zones and interact in different settings. This is where our church family comes in.

Our current need: 5 - 6 Host Homes depending on how many youth sign up. Bible Study Leaders for each host home.

 

What does being a Host Home mean: Approx. 4 - 6 students will stay in your home. A Bible Study Leader will stay as well to assist in chaperoning the youth throughout the weekend. You would be responsible for providing transportation to Surfside Baptist Church for the retreat on Friday night and Saturday and to worship at Timberlake Baptist on Sunday morning. Also, we would ask you to provide breakfast on Saturday morning and Sunday morning.

When: Friday Evening March 30th - Sunday Morning April 1st (Palm Sunday)
