Description of Classes and Activities
"Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it."

Sunday School: Classes are divided by grade levels. Curriculum is selected to meet the needs of that individual group. Bible lesson, prayer, and using the Bible are all a part of Sunday School.
Nursery: Both an infant nursery and a Toddler nursery are available. The children may play and feel God's love in this bright and vibrant atmosphere. A fenced playground is located right off the nursery for days with nice weather.
Worship Rally: This is our Children's Church. They receive God's word and how It applies to their life today and can help them deal with situations in life. The children learn through activities, games, and science experiments.
Mini Choir: This is a time for our youngest to learn to worship God through song.
Mini Hand Bells: The children learn to play hand bells that are color coded to music on their level.
Hand Bells: Children in grades 1 through 5 play more intense music using adult chimes.
Choir: Children in grades 1 through 5 learn and sing more complicated music and songs.
Easter/Palm Sunday/Christmas Program: This is a program which involves music, hand bells, a short drama, a puppet show, poetry, and Bible readings. This is so children may learn to worship God using their individual talents.
Devotion: This is a time for our interesting or trivia related devotion. It is a time to learn something new and how everything can be used to glorify God.
Family Fun Day/Night: This takes the family out into the community for a day or night of fun and fellowship.
Family Devotion Night: This is a night at church where families come together for dinner, devotion, games, and activities.
VBS: Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a week filled with fun and excitement. It includes Bible lessons, crafts, games, music, a science lab, and dinner each night.
Timbertots: This is our mother's morning out program. It offers mothers a short break during the week. The children receive great social skills from this program.
Timbertots Preschool: This is our preschool that runs Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays through the Horry County Schools calendar year.
Acolyte: An acolyte lights the candle at the beginning of service to represent the Light of Christ coming in. They also carry the light out of church at the end of each service to represent us taking Christ's Light out into the world to share with others.
Summer Camp: The active kids of are church are invited to attend summer camps away from Timberlake.
