  • K.I.D.S. “Kids In Discipleship & Service” Ministry: Children’s Wednesday Night Devotions begin. All “KIDS” ages 5-11 are welcome to join us for fun activities while learning about Jesus Christ our Lord!
  • TBC Youth and Young Adult will host their Local Missions Car Wash on Saturday, August 10th from 9:00 a.m.– 1:00 p.m. on the parking lot. The fundraiser will provide school supplies/needs for unaccompanied youth in Horry County. The cost for the car wash is $5.00.  All monetary donations will be accepted and greatly appreciated.
  • Eva Shaw (Bible Release Time class St. James Schools) and her husband are hosting a trip to Israel and holding an informational meeting on Sunday, August 11th, at 5:00 at Low Country Community Church in Murrells Inlet. The trip dates are January 29 – February 8, 2020. 
  • Have you noticed the donation jars around the Church for school supplies?  The Grateful Journey Sunday School Class is collecting funds to share with the six (6) area schools.  The money will be given to each school’s administrative staff to buy school supplies for children whose families cannot afford the expense Monetary donations can also be turned in to any member of the Grateful Journey class.  August 19th is the first day of school.
  • Covered Dish Dinner on August 7th. the Hostess Committee will be providing fried chicken. Please bring a side dish to compliment the entrée. Bring enough for your family plus a little extra, remembering our Samaritan Purse guests.
  • The Facilities Projects Group will be meeting again within the next few weeks (date to be announced) to discuss future projects and funding opportunities. Anyone is welcome to attend these meetings to provide ideas and input. We look forward to seeing you as we work to grow our Church and the Body of Christ. Thank you again for your support.
  • TIMBERFEST is October 19, 2019.  We will need volunteers to assist with parking, kitchen, greeting, grounds upkeep during the event, assisting with events during the festival (children’s area, concession stands, baked goods, basket raffle) and many other activities. We will have a sign-up board placed in the CLC within the next week so you can see the opportunities for service. We are also asking that each Sunday School Class and group donate a themed “gift basket” to be raffled off during the event. Please contact Donita (843-421-7004) with any questions.
  • The Living Lord’s Supper will be back on for Easter 2020.  We are currently in need of several cast members, set workers, lighting crew, makeup and wardrobe assistance.  If you are willing to devote your time and effort to this drama, please contact Dena Joye or Nathan Johnson. If you are unfamiliar with the Living Lord’s Supper, DVD’s are available for your viewing.

Samaritan’s Purse Information:

  •          Event Organizers: If your upcoming event or activity includes use of the CLC, please contact the church office ASAP so we may assist you with scheduling and coordinating your event.

  • ·         SP Liaisons Steve Little and Pastor Ward will assist you with any SP related questions and matters.  

  • ·          Desserts Ministry: There is a sign-up calendar on the CLC wall near the kitchen to provide desserts for our SP volunteers and staff.                                               

  • Cookbooks are available for purchase in the church office. $15.00 each or two for $25.00. We have only a few available, so get yours now.
