A planning meeting for TimberFest is scheduled for Thursday, September 24th at 6:00 pm. Anyone interested in helping with any aspect of this event is welcomed and appreciated. You can call Donita Johnson (843-421-7004) for more information, or to

volunteer your talents. All CDC guidelines will be followed. The dates for TimberFest are October 16th and 17th.


Saturday, September 26th is the National and Global Day of Repentance and Prayer. The main event will be held at the National Mall in Washington, D.C. There will also be local events and simulcasts here in the Grand Strand. We will have more information on the local events soon. Visit for more information.

Our church is partnering with the Waccamaw Baptist Association and other local churches to promote this event and provide opportunities to participate at the local level.

From the Waccamaw Baptist Association: If you or your church would like to offer assistance to those affected by Hurricane Laura, we are asking that you send gift cards (VISA, Home Depot, Lowes, etc.) to the associational office by the end of September. Contact the associational office for any additional questions.                                             

NOTE: If it is more convenient, you can drop off donations at the church office to be mailed to WBA.


The 2020-2021 church directory will be ready in October. If you need your information updated OR if you would like to be added to the directory, please contact the church office by October 1, 2020.                                                                                             



The 2020 –2021 Attractions Books are here and available to purchase in the office. The cost is $20.00 and proceeds go to the Special Events Committee. The coupons do not expire until December 31, 2021.

Men’s Bible Study will resume on Thursday, September 10th. Please meet in the sanctuary at 6:30 PM. Masks and social distancing are required.
